Industrial parking lot paving
Large-area paving built for constant traffic and turning, with falls set so water leaves the surface instead of sitting on it.
What it is
A parking lot fails at the turning points first. Vehicles pivoting on the same spot shear the surface, and once water gets into that the frost does the rest over winter.
We build the areas that take the punishment deeper than the areas that do not, set the falls so water actually reaches the drainage, and seal the joints where new work meets old.
Work is phased so part of the site stays open where you need it to. On most commercial lots we can work section by section rather than closing the whole thing.
What we get right
Water has to leave the surface. Flat spots are where parking lots start to break up.
Built deeper where vehicles pivot, because that is where the shear load is concentrated.
Bays, directional arrows and accessible spaces marked once the surface has cured.
